Hi, my name is Kim. I had a stroke about a year and a half ago. My symptoms from the stroke left me with a lot of dizziness and nauseousness with pretty much movement looking up looking down, looking side to side. I’m looking at different patterns, rugs, the sidewalk. I was really very limited in my life, in my everyday life, and after I had my physical therapist refer me to Dr. Israeloff and after seeing her, she recommended these prism glasses and they literally changed my life. I don’t have dizziness anymore. I don’t have nauseousness. I’m able to move with much greater range. I’m able to look at everything. I’m able to basically enjoy life again. I rode a bike the other day. I’m hoping to be driving again soon. It’s just made a tremendous, tremendous difference in my life and I’m so grateful to her for what she’s done for me.

Kim was your stroke diagnosed in an MRI
I am suffering the same symptoms for almost 2 years and all my tests have come back negative. My vision did change and yet I am told I did not have a stroke. How was your stroke diagnosed? Thank you
Hi Janet,
Kim’s stroke was confirmed with an MRI.
